Marcus Moraes
Violinist and guitarist, he started studying music at the age of thirteen and, at nineteen, he was already working professionally in the area. He finished his bachelor's degree in guitar at the University of Brasilia in 2004. In 2003, he won the Instrumental Music Festival of Brasilia (FEMIB). In 2004, he was one of the 24 musicians selected to participate in the Visa Music Award. He was one of the winners of the Nabor Pires Camargo Prize, in Indaiatuba, in the state of São Paulo and one of the finalists of the Fred Schneiter National Competition of Erudite Guitar, held in Rio de Janeiro. In 2006, he released his first CD, which had excellent acceptance by the public and media in Brasilia. With the group Marambaia, made his first European tour, besides performing in several Brazilian capitals through the project "Eu Faço Cultura". Already shared the stage with big names in Brazilian music such as Carlos Malta, Lula Galvão, Gabriel Grossi, Bocato, Nicolá Krassik, among others.
