Between her two cultures, western and eastern, Shani Diluka pursues an international career, championing a wide repertoire but always mindful of passing on the rigorous standards of the great thinkers of music (from Schnabel to Kempff , to whom critics regularly refer when discussing her playing).

She is a regular guest at leading venues such as the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Salle Pleyel and Cité de la Musique in Paris, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Festival de La Roque d’Anthéron of which she is one of the most loyal visitors, the Arsenal de Metz, the Grand Theatre de Bordeaux, the Menton International Festival, La Folle Journée in Tokyo (where she gave the opening concert), Zubin Mehta’s Bombay Festival where she was principal pianist, and the Verbier Festival at which she gave the closing concert in 2013.

Shani Diluka’s main chamber music partners include Valentin Erben, the legendary cellist of the Alban Berg Quartet, Natalie Dessay with whom she appears regularly, and the Quatuor Ebène. She also performs as a concerto soloist under conductors such as Lawrence Foster,Vladimir Fedoseyev, Gabor Takacs-Nagy,Ludovic Morlot, Eivind Gullberg Jensen,Kwame Ryan, and Andrew Manze. Amongher other partners are prestigious performers of all generations: one need only mentioneresa Berganza, the Pražak, Ysaye, Belcea and Modigliani quartets... She is also in tune with her own times and works with some of today’s leading composers, including Kurtag,Rihm, and Mantovani (one of whose works she premiered).

Her interest in young audiences has led her to record a CD-book on Chopin and L’Histoire de Babar with Natalie Dessay, both for Editions Didier Jeunesse-Hachette Livre, which were awarded a « Coup de Coeur Charles Cros ».

Discovered at the age of 6 years by a program initiated by Princess Grace of Monaco for gifted children, she was admitted to a specialized class at the Academy Prince Rainier III. She gave her first public recital at the age of 9 and at 10 years a report on her talents was telecast by the French national television. At the age of 12 she appeared on the first half of a concert with Helen Grimaud at the Acropolis in Nice. The same year she benefitted from the precious advice and encouragements from Maestro Lawrence Foster.

After brilliant studies at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris culminating in a Premier Prix by unanimous decision of the jury and followed by a postgraduate course in the same institution, she came to the attention of great maestros such as Leon Fleisher, Maria Joao Pires, Menahem Pressler, and Murray Perahia, who invited her to work with them. She also entered the highly prestigious Como International Piano Foundation, which selects only six pianists in the world each year. Shani Diluka was soon to receive a number of distinctions and successes..

Her recording of Mozart by France Musiques was chosen to be aired on 150 International Radios world wide for the Commeration of Mozart's 150th Anniversary, (such as the B.B.C., A.B.C. of Australia , Deutsche rundfunk, OSR Suiss) etc..

Her recordings of Beethoven, Mendelssohn, and Grieg, released on Mirare/Harmonia Mundi, have earned her many awards, notably ‘Choc’ du Monde de la Musique, RTL d’Or, Choice of the year for Arte, Gramophone Editor’s Choice, Fanfare USA, Selection of Mezzo, Diapason, and Vogue selection in Japan, Japana Arena Award of the year, etc..

She is releasing in 2014 the official CD of « La Folle Journée » on Americam Music « Road 66 » ditributed worldwide.

Highlights of 2014/2015, Shani Diluka will be appearing in France and in Japan, at the Vienna Konzerthaus, at the Koln Philharmonie, at the Théatre des Champs elysées,at Dijon Opera, at Beaux-Arts of Lille, at Bordeaux Opera, at Paris Olympia as Radio Classique guest artist ,Beethoven complete sonatas in Vienna and Linz and in salle Gaveau at the festival Pro quartet along Valentin Erben of Berg quartet ,Recital tour in Berlin/Lindau/Frankfurt/Leipzig/Hamburg/Dusseldorf/Munich..), Recital tour in India and Japan, touring with Natalie Dessay, Roque d’Anthéron festival,..
