Violinist Mark Steinberg, first violin of the Brentano String Quartet, and pianist Jeremy Denk join Maestro Solzhenitsyn and the ensemble in Berg’s Chamber Concerto, Op. 8. “We showcase our wind section with the famous Stravinsky Octet and Persichetti’s elegant Serenade No. 1, Op. 1. Then Jeremy Denk joins Mark Steinberg, in his longawaited return to the Orchestra, for the electrifying Chamber Concerto of Alban Berg,” said Maestro Solzhenitsyn. The program also features Harbison’s Music for 18 Winds.
