Info for It Was Here (UK 2025)
The ETH/UZH Big Band has released its new album, ‘It Was Here – UK 2025’. The album’s title is taken from the track ‘It Was Here’ by the band Aberdeen, in an original arrangement for the ETH Big Band. This and other original arrangements accompanied the band on their UK tour. The album was recorded following the tour. In addition to a diverse mix of swing, funk and Latin tracks, the album features a composition by the Jazz Big Band Graz by Horst-Michael Schaffer, which we rehearsed and performed together with him in a workshop last year.
