Ausgehend von ihren karibischen Wurzeln und ihrer Liebe zu Jazz, Soul, Funk und afrokaribischen Rhythmen kreiert Fabienne Reine eine gemischte, lebendige und aufrichtige Musik, die inmitten des Karibikfestivals im Mai eine naheliegende Wahl darstellt. Auf dieser melodischen Reise nimmt uns die Sängerin mit der Süße des Jazz, der Synkopierung des Funk, der Spritzigkeit des Gospel, der Zärtlichkeit der Biguine und dem Rhythmus des Zouk.

Nach der kürzlichen Veröffentlichung ihres Albums „Éko“ liefert sie eine intime und akustische Version, die die wahre Essenz ihrer Kompositionen enthüllt. Ein schwebender Moment, in dem jede Note wie ein Fragment der Geschichte widerhallt, jede Melodie wie ein Echo ihrer pluralistischen Identität.

Fabienne Reine ist eine vielseitige Künstlerin guadeloupeanischer Herkunft: Tänzerin, Choreografin, Sängerin, Autorin, Komponistin. Sie führte ihre Projekte durch, ohne eine ihrer Leidenschaften für eine andere aufzugeben. So zeichnete sie sich mehrere Jahre lang in zeitgenössischen Tanzensembles und Musicals (La Rue Zabym, Le Roi Lion usw.) aus. Als Bühnen- und Studiosängerin begleitet sie zahlreiche Künstler aus der Karibik (Jean-Claude Naimro, Patrick St Eloi, Jocelyne Béroard, Tanya St Val, Jeff Joseph, Dominique Coco usw.) und der afrikanischen Szene (Josey, Papa Wamba, Almok, Sissy Mananga, Mj30 usw.).

Während ihres Aufenthalts in Paris im Jahr 2005 mit der Truppe der Musicalshow „La Rue Zabym“ beschloss sie, ihre Karriere dort mit noch mehr Leidenschaft fortzusetzen und sich an neuen künstlerischen Begegnungen zu bereichern. 2009 kreierte sie „Sa ki andidan’S“, ein choreografisches Stück für das Pariser Outre-Mer Festival. Eine Kreation, die Jazz, zeitgenössische Musik und Gwo-ka sowohl in der Gestik als auch in der Musik vereint.

Darüber hinaus ist sie als Leadsängerin in verschiedenen Gruppen anzutreffen: dem Biguine-Jazz-Quintett „Tikafé“, dem Funk-Creole-Orchester „Zandoly“ und dem Vokaltrio „Kérédam“. Mit all ihren Erfahrungen im Rücken veröffentlichte Fabienne Reine Ende 2018 ihre erste Single „Dako“, die mit Hilfe des Bassisten Eric Delblond produziert wurde.

singer-songwriter, composer, and artist from Guadeloupe has more than one string to her bow. She discovered a strong artistic flair early on, which she first developed on the dance floor. She began her artistic career as a dancer and choreographer. She performed for several years in contemporary companies and musicals (La rue Zabym, The Lion King).

With a degree in jazz technique, she also enjoyed teaching her passion for dance. A writer and composer, she has written for artists including Dissonance (Qui je Suis) in 2003, Nomads (100 Lieux D'Histoires), and the vocal trio Kerédam. At the same time, she performed in live ensembles as a singer and backing vocalist, gaining solid experience on the music scene. She has accompanied numerous Caribbean artists (J-Claude Naimro, Patrick St Eloi, Jocelyne Beroard, Tanya St Val, Jeff Joseph, Dominique Coco, etc.) and African artists (Josey, Papa Wemba, Almok, Sissy Mananga, Mj30, etc.).

Benefiting from all her experiences, she released her first single in October 2018: "Dako." This first opus is taken from her upcoming album, Mélange de sonorités, which draws on all her influences. An album that aims to be a melodious journey through the sweetness of jazz, the syncopation of funk, the groove of soul, the effervescence of gospel, the tenderness of biguine, and the rhythm of Zouk. The track "Dako," with its biguine-jazz sound, Creole lyrics, and contemporary themes, is a decidedly feminine track. It highlights his jazzy-soul vocal timbre and underlines the close and beautiful collaboration with bassist and composer Eric Delblond, who, with his legendary groove and sensitivity, has left his fine mark.
