Laura Chavez
who was born in California, is undoubtedly the most established of them all. An exceptionally gifted guitarist, she was for many years the driving musical force behind the band of the late singer Candye Kane (Blues Caravan 2005 and 2008). She has also played countless gigs with Nikki Hill, Vanessa Collier and rock ’n’ roll legend Mitch Ryder. Chavez knows how to thrill an audience with her steady rhythm guitar and explosive electric guitar solos. Her reputation as one of the very best on the blues scene was confirmed by the Blues Foundation in 2023 when Chavez became the first woman to win the Blues Music Award for ‘Best Instrumentalist – Guitar’.
Matthew Curry

The American has been performing on stages across North America for over a decade, thrilling audiences with his unmistakable sound that blends blues, rock and Americana. He has shared the stage with major artists such as Peter Frampton, the Steve Miller Band, the Doobie Brothers and Blackberry Smoke.

The French singer, songwriter and guitarist Elise Frank is by no means a newcomer, but she is a young artist to watch. She has been the frontwoman of her own electric blues and rock band, FRANK, since 2021, and has performed at leading European music events such as the Cognac Blues Passions Festival in France and the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival. She is sure to open a few eyes during the Blues Caravan tour.
