Biographie Giulio Giurato


Giulio Corrado
began studying the piano at the age of seven with Daniela Ferracin at the ‘Fondazione Diocesana Santa Cecilia’ in Brescia. In 2012, he continued his musical studies with Pinuccia Giarmanà at the “Conservatorio Luca Marenzio” in Brescia, where he was awarded a Master’s degree with top marks and honours (110 cum laude) in March 2022. He is currently studying under Alexander Romanovsky and is attending a three-year advanced piano course under the guidance of Konstantin Bogino and Fabiano Casanova at the “Fondazione Accademia Perosi” in Biella (Italy).

He has taken part in various masterclasses with Federico Colli, Roberto Bianco, Dina Yoffe, Andrea Turini, Lovro Pogorelich, Mats Widlung and Bruno Canino. He has performed during several concert seasons, including ‘Le X Giornate di Brescia’, the ‘Rassegna Pianoforum’ in Cremona, the ‘Festival Pianistico Brescia e Bergamo’, the ‘Livorno Music Festival’, the ‘Roma Tre Orchestra’, the ‘Rassegna Giovani Eccellenze’ organised by the Fondazione Diocesana Santa Cecilia, and ‘Musica in Laguna d’Arte’ in Chioggia.

He has won prizes in various national and international competitions: first prize at the “Pietro Montani Competition” (2014), second prize at the “Giulio Rospigliosi Prize” and a place in the final of the “Giulio Rospigliosi, Schumann Prize’ (2018), third prize at the 1st ‘NapoliNova’ World Piano E-Competition (2020), first prize at the ‘Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition, Paris’ (2022), and first prize at the ‘Caneres International Music Competition, Vienna’ (2022).

He has performed in various chamber music ensembles, such as the “Trio Naturlaut” with Filippo Passarella and Alessandro Alghisi, in piano-violin duets with Filippo Passarella and Viola Benaglia, and in piano-cello duets with Maria Clara Mandolesi.
