From a very early age, Clement Lefebvre showed great interest in music. At 4, he started learning piano, before discovering percussions. After studying at the Lille’s Conservatory, he obtened prizes in both instruments. Then, he decided to focus fully on piano. He is received by Hortense Cartier-Bresson in her class of Boulogne-Billancourt’s Conservatory, she prepared him for the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse’s entrance exam, in Paris. Clément Lefebvre get into this prestigious institution in 2010 and learnt from Roger Muraro, Claire Désert, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Alain Planès.

Prizewinner of the André Dumortier international contest in 2012 and Piano Campus in 2013, Clément Lefebvre won in 2016 the First Prize and the Audience Prize of the James Mottram International Piano Competition in Manchester, where he performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, directed by Vasily Petrenko. He is also laureate of the Banque Populaire Fondation, the Safran Fondation, the Meyer Fondation and of the Mécénat Musical Société Générale.

He performed on many prestigious concert halls, like the place of Flagey in Bruxelles, the French Ambassy of Dublin, the Paris Philharmonic and in many festivals, like the Folle Journée in Nantes, the Chopin festival in Paris, the Roque of Anthéron, Piano in Lyon, the Biarritz international festival of classical piano, the Pâques festival in Deauville, the festival of the Rencontres Musicales en Artois …. In 2015, he is invited to play Rachmaninov’s Rhapsodie sur un thème de Paganini with the Republican Guard orchestra. You can also often hear him on France Musique and Radio Classique.

Renowned chamber musician, he is engaged in many projects and share the stage with musicians like Philippe Bernold, Roland Daugareil, Lilian Lefebvre, Vineta Sareika, Amaury Coeytaux … Clément Lefebvre is a founding member of the Abegg Quartet, where he creates Pascal Zavaro’s Aristophanes on the ground, Karol Beffa’s It rings a bell. He forms a piano duo with Alexandre Lory.

Distinguised for the clarity and the delicacy of his playing, his sound palette and his capabilities allow him to play Beethoven, Liszt, as Mozart, Schumann, Debussy, Ravol, Bartók … His musical tastes are also Rameau, Albeniz, or even Chabrier.
