Info for Sea of Love

Australian-born, Paris-based artist Jody Sternberg’s second album, explores a theme that is both timeless and all pervading, delving into the various forms love can take throughout a lifetime – from physical passion to spiritual ecstasy. Surrounded by a small, organic ensemble featuring keyboardist Công Minh Pham, guitarist Julien Omé, double bassist Benoît Dunoyer de Segonzac, and drummer Rémy Kaprielan, Jody Sternberg offers us an intimate confession of great elegance, with secretly autobiographical undertones.

Jody Sternberg blends vocal jazz with touches of folk, blues and bossa nova. Now living in France, after previous spells in Japan and the US, Jody has collaborated with artists including Arthur H, Alain Jean-Marie, Marc Collin’s Nouvelle Vague and Morcheeba, notably touring worldwide as their lead singer during The Antidote era and co-writing the single “Wonders Never Cease”.

Jody recently released “In Your Eyes" the first single, of her new album due in Spring 2026 on Bonsaï music.

Jody Sternberg is a rare bird. The type which has lived ups and downs, and from them has found a unique voice, slightly fragile, terribly sincere.” Télérama
