Alissa currently lives in Nashville with her husband and 3 sons and has a new album, Transcendent releasing by Vere Music in June 2025. She started in Los Angeles playing Hotel Cafe with Gary Jules, Waz, Jason Mraz, Meiko and an array of great artists.
Alissa Moreno was born on a small Navajo reservation then grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She co-wrote the Grammy-nominated hit "Every Day" for Rascal Flatts; her song "Far From Here" was the show ID for the Lifetime series Army Wives; and she co-wrote/co- performed ABC's Hope and Faith theme song. Her music is featured in television and film with numerous songs licensed to The Vineyard, The Hills, Laguna Beach, How I Met Your Mother, Guiding Light, Will and Grace and many others, including the film Paul Blart: Mall Cop. She was the vocal coach to Ben Affleck for his award-winning role in Hollywoodland. Alissa currently lives in Nashville, and has written with and been recorded by artists such as Colbie Caillat, Alex Da Kid, Kina Grannis, Street Runner, JoJo, Chuck Wicks, Mallary Hope, Kate Voegelle, Javier Colon, Nikola Rachelle Bedingfield, Fast Ball, Big Al Anderson, Vince Gill and Vertical Horizon.

Alissa Moreno
was born on a small Navajo reservation, grew up in Albuquerque, N.M., and studied vocal composition and performance at the College of Santa Fe. After moving to Los Angeles where she performed weekly at the Hotel Cafe, she co-wrote the Grammy-nominated hit "Every Day" for Rascal Flatts. She has a new song "Walking Blind" on The Voice winner Javier Colon's latest album as well as two on previous ones — "When" and "That's My Little Girl." She also wrote the John Oates single "Santa Be Good to Me" which was recorded with The Time Jumpers and the Grammy-winning Morgan Heritage hit single "Pineapple Wine" for their Grammy-nominated album, Avrakedabra. Moreno wrote "The Yee-Haw Song" for Duck Dynasty's Uncle Si & The Psychotics, and had a no. 1 success with "Beautiful World" with international star Alexander Kogan. Her songs "Far From Here" and "Hold On" were used in the Lifetime series Army Wives, and she co-wrote/co-performed ABC's Hope and Faith theme song. Her song "Next Time" is featured on the Interscope Records release Laguna Beach: Summer Can Last Forever.
Moreno co-wrote with Jeffery Steele, the Grammy nominated hit Every Day for Rascal Flatts. She also wrote the John Oates single Santa Be Good To Me which, was recorded with The Time Jumpers. Additionally, Vince Gill released the critical hit, Strings with Big Al Anderson. Next, the Grammy winning Morgan Heritage released a single penned by Moreno titled Pineapple Wine, which topped Reggae charts around the world, reaching #1 in eight countries. She went on to write Walking Blind for The Voice Season 1 winner, (Team Adam) Javier Colon, and two songs on his previous album When and That's My Little Girl. She holds the current single Beautiful World for Russian born, International superstar Alexander Kogan, as well as a handful of singles and cuts from around the world including the South African Idol winner Elvis Blue song Only Wanna Be With You.
Her music is featured in television and film with numerous songs licensed to shows like The Vineyard, The Hills, Laguna Beach, How I Met Your Mother, Guiding Light, Will and Grace, Criminal Minds, along with commercials for brands such as Tide and Belk and many others including the films Daltry Calhoun and Slamdance hit Mall Cop. She was the vocal coach to Ben Affleck for his award-winning role in Hollywoodland. Moreno lives in Nashville, Tenn., and has written with and been recorded by numerous artists.
