Storyland was recorded in Ottawa but infused with deep Southern soul through a remarkable cross-border collaboration: legendary guitarist Kelvin Holly (Little Richard, The Amazing Rhythm Aces) traveled north to perform on the sessions, the iconic Muscle Shoals Horns recorded their parts in Alabama, and the album was mixed in Muscle Shoals by Grammy-winning engineer Jimmy Nutt.

Written and produced by veteran songwriter and producer Dick Cooper, Storyland carries a unified narrative voice while keeping Sherri firmly at the center as its emotional engine. The result is a record that feels grown, relevant, and fearless — music that doesn’t chase trends, but stands on craft, conviction, and soul.
