Info for Diamond In The Firepit

Third full length album from Finland's melodic rock heroes. Diamond in the Firepit sounds familiar yet fresh, light-hearted yet hear-warming and flows with the natural ease the Tribesters have been recognized for since their early days - the Tribe only huddles in the studio if the feeling is right and the songs are 100% gold. T. Nikulainen's soaring synths & songwriting, P.A. Heino's velvety voice, Jason Flinck's robust bass & smooth background vox meet beat master Torniainen's hard rocking rhythms and Emppu Vuorinen's agile, classy solos & guitar heroics you just can't hear in "that other band" he plays in. (Nightwish!).

Brother Firetribe

Brother Firetribe
An AOR band from Finland, Brother Firetribe first came into being in 2002. Influenced by the glory days of such stadium rock giants as Journey and Van Halen coupled with the glam of such acts as Skid Row, Brother Firetribe (the name itself a rather complicated in-joke involving Finnish tennis and heavy metal) were known in their early days as False Metal. Eventually opting for a name change, Brother Firetribe signed a deal with Spinefarm Records. The band would then use its early moniker as inspiration for its first album -- simply titled False Metal -- which was released in 2006. Well received both critically and commercially in Finland, the band was unable to tour, with guitarist Emppu Vuorinen being part of Finnish rock legends Nightwish and vocalist Pekka Heino a member of Leverage. Still, Brother Firetribe didn't take too much time off as a unit, releasing their second album, Heart Full of Fire, in 2008.
