Info for Coyote (Remastered)
Country flavored, semi-commercial rock with some prog influences.
Chuck Beaty formed Coyote with Rod Arment, Rusty Steele, Jim Kestle, Tim Lloyd, and guest musician Liz Hein. Each member contributed to both songwriting and vocals.
Their self-titled album was recorded in 1972 at ITI with engineer/producer George Massenburg, whose subsequent achievements—including Grammy awards and the invention of the parametric equalizer. The band’s sound was eclectic—sometimes loosely compared to the Grateful Dead—but ultimately distinctive. Chuck’s vocals have been referred to as a blend of Shel Silverstein and Ray Stevens.
Rod Arment,
Please Note: we do not offer the 96kHz version of this album, because our analysis clearly showed, that the 96kHz does not reach a frequency spectrum, that would justify to offer 96kHz. Hence we offer the 48kHz version.
