Info for Liv-f-e in an Empty Space
Dream Catcher and The Big Gang Theory embark on an exciting musical journey through their 25 years of musical repertoire. In 2023, to celebrate their 25th anniversary, Dream Catcher released a double live album “Live - Under a blood red ground” and embarked on a “Best of Summer Tour”, supporting Robbie Williams and playing a series of festivals, some backed up by the HMD Big Band. The uplifting, creative and exciting arrangements created a unique bond among the musicians and great enthusiasm among the audiences who witnessed these extraordinary concerts. In 2024, Dream Catcher and The Big Gang Theory (as the HMD Big Band is now called) decided to pursue this adventure. Together, 24 talented musicians have reimagined 12 beloved songs from the past, resulting in a captivating new album set. Adding an extra layer of excitement, the enchanting Joëlle Gelhausen, former frontwoman of Angel At My Table, as well as the beloved long-time Dream Catcher member Eric Falchero, invested their talents to a few, but special standout tracks, too. This project certainly promises to deliver the “familiar” in a fresh and innovative way. For over 25 years, Dream Catcher has captivated audiences around the globe with their dynamic live performances, from Canada and the USA to Japan, Singapore, and throughout Europe. The ensemble features charismatic frontman John Rech, virtuoso guitarist Christof Brill, the enchanting & devilish melodies of violinist Wolfgang Wehner, and the versatile Marc Welfringer on accordion and piano. The solid grooves are provided by none other than Claude Zeimes on bass guitar and Rainer Dettling on the drums, creating a rich tapestry of sound. Rooted deeply in their Luxembourg heritage, Dream Catcher blends Celtic folk, French chanson, and vibrant pop influences, resulting in a colorful and diverse musical journey for the listener. Their multilingual and cosmopolitan approach reflects the essence of their homeland, ensuring that every performance resonates with audiences from all walks of life.

Dream Catcher
