Info for Nu-Jazz Resurgence
The throb of reverberating synth gives a lush underwater feel to this track. Pipes provide an unearthly quality to the melody. Bass drum, snare, horns and ringing percussion drive it forward.
This sophisticated, yet sensuous, collection of slinky neo-soul and electro-jazz grooves winds in serpentine fashion with bright, brassy horn leads, chill electric keyboards, occasional male and female vocals, and a bedrock of synthy, swaggering, hip hop-inspired grooves.
