Following "Arômes Complexes", François Poitou & Pumpkin are back with "Ancré Chaos", a second installment in which jazz and rap intertwine elegantly, with depth and power.

Eleven tracks written and crafted together, in which the rapper’s poetic lyrics explore human nature, day and night, love and war, the past and the future, set comfortably against the double bassist’s sophisticated compositions.

Echoes of boom bap and trap, subtle melodies, and carefully crafted improvisations – at times intimate, at others energetic. On the shared creative ground of the Parisian and the Nantes-born artist, jazz structures skilfully blend with the classic codes of hip hop to create a unique soundscape, enhanced by the musicians Stéphane Adsuar [drums], Olivier Laisney [trumpet] and Maxime Berton [saxophone].

With "Ancré Chaos", François Poitou & Pumpkin present a new, modern and subtle jazz-rap collaboration, mixed and mastered by Blanka [Kasablanka Mastering].
