Info for Maybe It's Just Me

In recent years, Chris Kläfford has proved time and time again how adept he is at capturing the hearts of television audiences, both with his haunting voice and his easy-going, warm personality. From winning Swedish Idol in 2017 with "Treading Water", to the audience success of America's Got Talent in 2019, he has managed to gain fans all over the world. He has successfully and frequently released new music, music that has gone platinum and topped the Swedish radio charts. For some time now, Chris has been working on his upcoming album "Maybe It´s Just Me" which will be released on 31 March.

The talent, sincerity and honesty of Chris Kläfford is a combination that is hard to resist. And perhaps this is more evident than ever on his debut album 'Maybe It´s Just Me'. The album's ten tracks include the already released singles 'Be Alright', 'Buried' and 'This Kind of Love', as well as the current single 'Headlights', on which Chris has worked with Scott Richie and producer Peter Kvint. The songs on the album broaden horizons with vibrant vigour, though the core of the lyrics is the eternal complexity of love relationships.

The album revolves around a relationship tested by human difficulties and mistakes. From falling in love to a failing relationship, which leads to thoughts and reflections on why you stay in something that doesn't make you the happiest. But without dialogue, mistakes happen, and the fight against addiction and manipulation is tested. "Lies are like waves that create new lies," says Chris Kläfford.

"Maybe It's Just Me" is a personal and naked debut album about the most central part of our humanity. The desire to touch, to be touched, and to share it.

It is always possible to grow as a human being, and learn to understand both yourself and your partner more. That is, if you don't give up what it all started with: love. And if, at the same time, you can bury what once was, something new can grow", Chris Kläfford continues.
