Info for Poussière d'Ame
Sylvain Le Ray's limpid, dreamlike, inspired jazz! ‘Poussière d'âme’ evokes the human capacity to project ourselves into a fascinating imaginary world. Inspired for years by mythologies and traditional cultures, Sylvain Le Ray has built up a rich, contemplative musical universe here, nourished by the aesthetics of music with images. ‘Poussière d'âme' is an immersive experience similar to that of a film. Each note invites the listener to plunge into a narrative atmosphere, where a story unfolds over the course of an hour of music. ‘Poussière d'âme' is a blend of long, soaring, lyrical melodies; vocals and saxophone breathe a dreamlike atmosphere, and double bass and drums create earthy, bubbling rhythms. A sonic journey as powerful as it is spellbinding.
