Info for Now I See

The group formed in 2024 with a clear ambition: to thrill audiences with their energetic and deeply authentic music. These three talented musicians draw inspiration from jazz, soul and blues, capturing the vibrant spirit of New York’s golden age of swing. Inspired by the legacy of Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Kelly, Ray Brown and Count Basie, the trio asserts a strong identity, rooted in tradition yet resolutely forward-looking. Each track is an invitation to rediscover the warmth, elegance and vitality of swing, reinvented through original and daring compositions. The trio passionately champions the idea that this timeless aesthetic has every right to stand alongside modern and contemporary jazz. Their debut album, which they will launch at Chorus this evening, marks pianist Matthieu Trovato’s first recording and signals the start of a vibrant, ambitious and promising musical journey.

A trio that brings the energy of swing to life with panache!
