Info for Cinematic Shadow Prophecies

Formed in 2010 as an indie Brit-rock band, The Speakers have evolved into a distinctive fusion of new wave, electronic rock, synthwave, cinematic sound, and post-punk. Known for their retro-cinematic style, the band creates music that reflects life, society, and the human experience.

Across three albums, they have developed a signature sound that combines music with fashion, film, and visual aesthetics into an immersive sonic world. Cinematic Shadow Prophecies, set for release this September 2025, is a cinematic and immersive exploration of sound and emotion. The album blends new wave, electronic rock, synthwave, cinematic sound, and post-punk, creating a layered, atmospheric experience.

The word “cinematic” defines not only the sound of the album but also The Speakers’ entire aesthetic — a carefully crafted world where music, fashion, retro cinema, and architecture intersect.

Vicentiu Oktavianus, lead vocals
Arthur Pasecinic, drums
