Info for and all pride aside
Rising R&B sensation and fresh off nominations from the BET Awards, BRIT Awards, and MOBO Awards, kwn is releasing new EP "and all pride aside".
The project is a continuation of her breakout EP, With All Due Respect. “Thank you for being patient,” Kwn wrote on Instagram. “Very ready for you to hear the version of me you haven’t met yet. It’s arrogant, it’s sexy, it’s fun, but also vulnerable, honest and unapologetically myself.”
The 11-track offering will include the early single “Hopeless Romantic,” as well as the freshly released “Touch Myself” and “Idea of Love.”
Produced by FaxOnly and Zeek, “Touch Myself” is a passionate confessional fueled by a white-hot desire to be intimate with someone special, a yearning so intense that the mere thought of them leaves her to her own devices. “I touch myself just thinkin’ about you,” Kwn sings in the chorus.
“Idea of Love” shifts the mood to Kwn’s more vulnerable side. Jaylon Black’s cinematic strings, paired with CTAG’s guitar work, serve as a backdrop for Kwn to contemplate her relationship with the four-letter word. Even though she has no problem “getting bad bitches,” there’s a piece of her that dreads making connections that seem to be fleeting.
Yet, there’s some urgency in wanting to establish a foundation with someone while she’s early in her career for fear of attracting the wrong person: “Wanna find me somebody while I’m still in the mud / ‘Cause sh*t gon’ change once I get me some bucks.”
“This project is me setting a foundation for myself in R&B. I’ve done a few great features this past year and now I want people to start taking me in for who I am as an artist,” said Kwn. “I feel a lot of people had previously been sleeping on me & doubting me. With all due respect, they should have never done that. Bow!”

It’s been a phenomenal year for the east London artist, who has transitioned from underground favourite to breakout star. After releasing her self-produced single 'worst behaviour' last year, she reignited it in March with a steamy remix and video featuring Kehlani, recorded just after supporting her on the European leg of the Crash World Tour. The clip went viral, propelling kwn onto a bigger stage and earning her a debut UK Official Chart entry at no.75. In June, she followed with her acclaimed EP 'with all due respect', featuring the sultry standout 'do what i say', which secured her first Radio 1 playlist spot (C List) this week. Her rise has been matched by a wave of tastemaker recognition, including Billboard Rookie of the Month, BET Best New International Act nominee, Amazon Music UK Breakthrough Artist, Apple Music Up Next, BET Amplified Artist, and a cover feature in NME. She also impressed with her UK TV debut on Later… with Jools Holland, surprised fans with a Walthamstow pop-up, and wrapped a sold-out headline tour across the UK, Europe and the US, alongside standout moments at Wireless and a Spotify-curated San Francisco showcase spotlighting UK R&B. With over 206mn global streams, 75m YouTube views, 3.2m monthly Spotify listeners, and a place on Vevo’s 2026 DSCVR Artists to Watch and BBC Radio 1's Sound of 2026 longlist, kwn has made a serious impression in 2025, firmly establishing herself as one of the genre’s most exciting new voices. Her silky vocals, bold lyricism and sleek, American-tinged UK R&B underline a talent in full ascent. Expect her name to appear on many more lists — kwn is on a rapid rise to global stardom.
