Info for 3 PART HARMONY
Saxophonist Efraïm Trujillo (you may know him from hard jazz quartet The Ploctones or as frontman of The Preacher Men) this time shares his more acoustic and lyrical side. “3 Part Harmony” is a collaboration with guitarist Eran Har Even and bass player Sven Schuster, like Trujillo household names in the vibrant Amsterdam jazz scene.

Efraïm Trujillo
is known for his work with ensembles such as The Preacher Men, The Ploctones, and the New Cool Collective Big Band. He has collaborated with the Metropole Orchestra and the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and is the musical director of the Amsterdam Funk Orchestra. In 2019, he and his group The Preacher Men won the Edison Audience Award. He has performed with artists such as Oleta Adams, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Gregory Porter, George Duke, and Chris Potter.
Eran Har Even
is an Edison Award-nominated Israeli guitarist, composer, and music teacher who lives in Amsterdam. He graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2012 with a bachelor's and master's degree. He is one of the most active figures in the Dutch jazz scene and has collaborated with some of the finest jazz musicians in the region and around the world. They include such renowned musicians as Benny Golson, Terrell Staford, David Friedman, Harmen Fraanje, Jamal Thomas, Joris Roelofs, and Gilad Hekselman, to name just a few.
Sven Schuster
was born in Wolfsburg, Germany, where he began playing the double bass at the age of sixteen. He studied in Graz, Austria, at the University of Music and Performing Arts, and at the Conservatorium in Hilversum, Netherlands. He is currently the resident bassist for the house band of Mijkes Middag Live on BBC Radio 6, plays with Susanne Alt, and is the bandleader of the Amstel Big Band. The newspaper "De Volkskrant" wrote of him: "Schuster is a compelling soloist, warm and melodic."
