Info for Phase

Phase follows the release of Garratt's acclaimed EPs Remnants, which racked up over a million plays and led to several sold-out shows in London, and Synesthesiac. Both EPs, out on Interscope Records. Garratt has received a host of critical acclaim for his previous output, including 'Weathered.' Complex wrote that the singer 'is about to explode in a big, chart-topping, unable to miss kind of way,' while London's Evening Standard called Garratt 'one of our most inventive new stars.' The Sunday Times' Culture section noted that '[Jack's] songs thrum with the dynamics and textures of after-hours electro-blues, dubstep and alt-R&B,' while Entertainment Weekly said Garratt 'sprinkles dance-floor glitter over crooning analog soul' on 'Weathered.'

Jack Garratt is a young British artist/producer whose music has quickly been connecting with fans all over the globe. This year, Jack has sold-out every headline show he's played in both the UK and US, and won over ever-expansive festival crowds across Europe too.

As a multi-instrumentalist (everything you see and hear is performed by Jack alone), Garratt's live show is a fascinatingly confident, breathtaking display of exactly what makes Jack such a uniquely gifted young musician.

It proves that not only can he replicate those genre-blending songs on stage, but he can take them one step further – it's a full spectrum of performance styles – and surely makes him one of 2016's hottest prospects. The success of Jack Garratt seems something of a safe bet” (NME)

“British multi-instrumentalist and singer Jack Garratt is about to explode in a big, chart-topping, unable to miss kind of way.” (Complex)

“One of our most inventive new stars” (Evening Standard)

Jack Garratt
London-based singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Jack Garratt combines electric guitar, drum machines, keyboards, and an R&B-friendly falsetto to fashion smooth, club-ready electro-pop. Hailing from Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire, England, Garratt started writing songs at the age of 12. When he got his first laptop in his late teens, he began experimenting with more advanced music production, eventually releasing the single "I Couldn't Want You Anyway" in early 2014. It made waves on the Internet, especially in the U.K., and led to festival appearances as well as a sold-out London record-release show later that year for Remnants, his debut EP on Island. Continuing to explore electronic soundscapes with attention to their emotional impact, his second EP, Synesthesiac, was issued via Interscope in spring of 2015. A year later, Garratt released his first LP, Phase, which included the slinky drum-n-bass single "Fire." (Marcy Donelson, AMG)
