Info for B.L.N.T.
As one of the country’s best-known comedians and entertainers, BÜLENT CEYLAN has been performing on the nation’s biggest stages for over 25 years and holds a very special place in the hearts of his fans thanks to his humor and down-to-earth manner. With his talent, he brings a smile to people’s faces, offers them an escape and a break from everyday life, and leaves them feeling lighthearted and uplifted. Bülent has two passions: in addition to comedy, he is devoted heart and soul (especially the latter!) to metal—and not just as a fan. Bülent is a metalhead through and through! In 2024, the Mannheim native released his debut album *Ich liebe Menschen*, followed by a tour of the same name with his four-piece band. In September 2025, he finally signed a record deal with the leading rock and metal label Napalm Records. A newly formed partnership that now crowns Bülent’s second studio album! It is titled *B.L.N.T.* and will be released on September 11, 2026.
In collaboration with Christian Neander, Martin Fliegenschmidt, and Henning Verlage, twelve songs were created that reflect the artist’s multifaceted nature. With *B.L.N.T.*, BÜLENT CEYLAN strikes a balance between playful wit and social commentary, offering listeners both humor and serious messages. For example, “Fünf vor Zwölf” addresses the urgency of taking a closer look before even the last few minutes slip away; the closing track “Am Ende gut” advocates for openness, tolerance, and not giving up hope, no matter how strong the headwinds may be, and “Leck mich Tag” stands as a blunt statement against all those whose opinions really shouldn’t be taken seriously. The single “Diktatürk” (from his comedy show of the same name), which was released in advance, is a hard-hitting industrial track brimming with raw metal energy; its provocative lyrics showcase Bülent’s razor-sharp wit and uncompromising stance.
On B.L.N.T., no two tracks are alike, and so, alongside the tracks already mentioned, there’s the album opener “Stumpf ist Trumpf” with its “just-turn-your-brain-off” attitude, or “Lange Haare,” where the title says it all. Further highlights come in the form of the two powerful ballads “Wir haben gelebt” and “Wolfsherz,” which may slow down the tempo but don’t lose any of their intensity! The former makes you pause and look back: Who was I? What will I leave behind?
For the no less emotional “Wolfsherz,” BÜLENT CEYLAN was able to enlist none other than the Heavy Metal Queen herself! Doro Pesch’s smoky yet soulful voice guarantees absolute goosebumps and undeniable recognition value. With the cheeky, rocking “Randale und Radau,” everything points to a change of pace, for which Bülent welcomes In Extremo frontman Michael and invites the crowd to go completely wild!
Following performances at the legendary Wacken Open Air, at the Scorpions’ anniversary concert, and at Metal Holidays, as well as through his collaboration with the German edition of Metal Hammer—where BÜLENT CEYLAN hosted the 2024 awards ceremony—he now once again proves his status as a serious musician with B.L.N.T. and solidifies his place in the heavy metal scene! B.L.N.T. has humor, brains, and above all, one thing in particular: plenty of heavy sounds! An album for heavy metal fans and all those who share Bülent’s passion, openness, and keen eye on society.
