Info for Cantus

On the new EP CANTUS by brothers and pianists Lucas and Arthur Jussen, they explore in six tracks piano repertoire that was originally based on an aria or chorale melody.

Lucas and Arthur Jussen are among the most sought-after piano duos of our time. In view of their illustrious international careers, the Jussen brothers can justifiably be described as the outstanding ambassadors of classical music in the Netherlands.

Their new project CANTUS is an album of six carefully selected titles, each based on a choral or aria melody by Johann Sebastian Bach, Reinhard Fedel and Johannes Brahms.

‘The two Dutchmen are great sound narrators, they mesmerise the audience with their sense of light-and-shadow effects.‘ - Der Tagesspiegel
