Viatores Quartet
In January 2024, the quartet was awarded First Prize at the Mendelssohn Bartholdy Competition and the Friends of Young Musicians Prize. In 2025, the quartet won Second Prize at the Irene Wilsing Steels Foundation Competition as part of the Heidelberg Spring Festival.

The quartet is increasingly in demand on the concert stage and has already performed in renowned concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus Berlin. Recent appearances include performances at Villa Musica, the Hindemith Days, the AIMA Festival, Klassik im Spandau, Piano Salon Christophori, Charlottenburg Palace, and Mainau Palace. Future performances will take the quartet to cities such as Cologne, Munich, Düsseldorf, and Trier, as well as to Austria, Poland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. In 2025, they will also perform at the St. Luke's Music Society in London, as well as at the Robert Schumann Society in Frankfurt, and in 2026 at the Schwetzingen Festival. Their first CD album will also be produced and released that year.

In 2024, the quartet was selected as an SWR New Talent, a three-year development program that includes performances at various festivals and recording projects.

The Viatores Quartet was founded in early 2023 at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and is currently studying with Professor Tabea Zimmermann at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media in the class of Professor Oliver Wille. They have also received artistic inspiration from renowned musicians such as Christian Tetzlaff, Nora Chastain, and Areta Zhula of the Juilliard String Quartet.

The quartet takes its name from the Latin term "Viatores," meaning "travelers." As the name suggests, the quartet proudly represents four different origins and cultures, united by a common goal.
