Info for Midnight Mavericks

The brand new highly anticipated album from Kingswood is "Midnight Mavericks".

As the band describe the album, “Midnight Mavericks is an album written after the lights go out. You’re forced to reckon with who you are when no one’s watching. There’s grit here. There’s tenderness. It’s country and rock — worn in, not dressed up — built on melody, muscle and life stories, blending lived-in boots and hopeful dreamers.”

Produced by Alexander Laska, who also co-wrote all the tracks on the album, the band describes Midnight Mavericks as “an album written after the lights go out. You’re forced to reckon with who you are when no one’s watching. There’s grit here. There’s tenderness. It’s country and rock — worn in, not dressed up — built on melody, muscle, and stories, blending lived-in boots and hopeful dreamers.”

"Across ‘Midnight Mavericks,' Kingswood continue to evolve, leaning further into American heartland, folk and country influences while still retaining their indie rock DNA. The result is a rich, varied record that moves effortlessly between jangly 90s Americana, darker western tones and classic melodic rock. It’s a heady mix: part Crowded House, part Eagles, part Orbison but it works. More importantly, it feels authentic. These are songs built for long drives, late nights and loud stages and it’s easy to imagine them taking on an even bigger life in a live setting." (James Daykin, entertainment-focus.com)
