Aurea Marston
Born in Dornach, she joined the OperAvenir studio at Theater Basel after completing her studies with Heidi Wölnerhanssen. There, she made her debut under the baton of Armin Jordan as Sméraldine in Prokofiev’s *The Love for Three Oranges*. Further guest roles at Theater Basel included Siébel in Gounod’s *Faust* and the Schoolboy in Alban Berg’s *Lulu*.
She subsequently accepted a permanent engagement at Theater Koblenz in Germany, where she sang roles such as Charlotte, Nicklausse, Donna Elvira, Dulcinée (*Don Quichotte*), Anita (*La Navarraise*), and Masha in Eötvös’s *Three Sisters*.
Additional guest appearances in Koblenz included Ellen Orford in Britten’s *Peter Grimes*, the First Lady in *The Magic Flute*, and a portrayal of Micaëla that was highly acclaimed by both the public and the press.
She has also performed as a guest artist in Neustrelitz, Zwickau, and Konstanz, appearing in roles such as Leonore in *Fidelio* and the title role in Orff’s *Die Kluge*.
In addition to the thirty opera roles and extensive concert repertoire she has performed over the years, Aurea Marston maintains a deep commitment to the art of *Lied* (art song), cultivating a vast repertoire in the genre.
She enjoys a long-standing collaboration with pianist Cornelia Lenzin. Together, they have established a reputation as a *Lied* duo in Switzerland, Germany, and Spain, performing works that include contemporary pieces written specifically for them—such as those featured in the "Basel komponiert" series at the Museum Kleines Klingental in Basel.
A new album featuring songs by Viktor Ullmann, titled *Wo hast du all die Schönheit hergenommen?* ("Where did you get all that beauty?"), is set for release by Prospero Classical in June 2026. It is available for purchase in stores or directly via the contact section.
Other important chamber music partners include cellist Gunta Abele and pianists Andrea Wiesli and Miguel Pisonero.

Cornelia Lenzin
Since completing her studies in Basel, Bonn, and Freiburg im Breisgau, the pianist has focused on chamber music and art song accompaniment; she also performs with various orchestras.
She collaborates regularly with a variety of musicians and performs in established ensembles with saxophonist Elisa Urrestarazu (Málaga), soprano Aurea Marston (Basel), and tenor Francisco Arbós (Málaga).
Since 2016, she has increasingly lived and worked at her second home in Andalusia, where she has performed in several renowned concert series, such as "Una hora de Cámara de la OCG" in Granada, "Noches en los Jardines del Real Alcázar" in Seville, and for the "Sociedad Filarmónica de Málaga."
Her new CD featuring songs by Viktor Ullmann—recorded with soprano Aurea Marston—has just been released on the Prospero Classical label.
