burst out of Stockholm in 1987 and, within months, were sharing festival bills with Scandinavian hard rock royalty such as Europe and Treat. Their debut single, the fist-pumping anthem ‘R.O.C.K.’, shot straight to No. 1 across Sweden and Norway, and the self-titled album that followed confirmed them as one of the era’s defining melodic rock acts.
After that meteoric rise, the band stepped away from the relentless pace of the spotlight, while their music continued to resonate with fans across the years. Now, decades later, Dag Finn - always the driving force behind Sha-Boom - has returned at the helm with renewed energy and purpose, ready to pick up exactly where the band left off.
With their certifiable Sweet-style glam rock, Swedish/Norwegian band Sha-Boom were a domestic sensation with their debut ”R.O.C.K” (1988) and its follow-up ”Let’s party” (1990). Since then, their appearances have been sadly sporadical, but now Dag Finn and cohorts – including Eclipse main man Erik Mårtensson – return with a new, endlessly party-rockin album, ”Another nail in the coffin”. ”I never left the 80s”, Dag Finn proclaims proudly, so rest assured classic like ”R.O.C.K.”, ”Werewolf”, ”Don’t steal my heart away” and ”Let’s party” will be part of the setlist.
