Christoph Beck
(born 1986) is a german jazz saxophonist and composer, based in Stuttgart (Germany).

He received his bachelor degree (summa cum laude) at University of Music and Perfoming Arts in Stuttgart in 2012 where he studied with Prof. Bernd Konrad. From 2012 on, he studied with Hubert Winter at University of Music in Würzburg where he graduated 2014.

From 2006 to 2008 he was member of the Youth Jazz Orchestra of Baden-Württemberg and member of the German Youth Jazz Orchestra (Bujazzo) under the conductorship of Prof. Steffen Schorn and Prof. Mario Baptist in 2010/2011.

Christoph Beck received the „Young Lions Jazz Award“ from the Lions Club Stuttgart/Killesberg in 2009 and a scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung in 2010.

Besides his own projects, Christoph Beck works as a composer and sideman in several other bands such as Tobias Becker Bigband, Slavko Benic Orkestr, Das letzte Känguru and can be heard on various releases (Eberhard Budziat Bigband Project „New Traditions“ 2013, Das letzte Känguru „Absprung“ 2014, Gee Hye Lee „password: ilovejazz“ 2015, Tobias Becker Bigband „ATOMIC B“ 2016).
