The Marrow is led by Oud Player Gordon Grdina, the group brings together Arabic Maqam and Persian Dastgah with western improvised music. The music is intricate and delicate with a deep connection to the past while looking forward. The group plays original and traditional works with Mark Feldman-Violin, Hank Roberts- Cello Mark Helias- Bass and Hamin Honari-Tombak and Daf. This exciting new project defies categorization while remaining comfortably engaging.
