Since his debut album "Attention Please", which was released in March 2006, Mads Langer has been busy. With Music Export Denmark behind him, he has toured England, Germany and the USA and after a longer stay in New York, Mads Langer came home to Denmark in the summer of 2007 to be the bandmaster at Nørrebro Theatre in the Rock Odyssey "Hedwig and the angry inch" with Anders W.Bertelsen in the lead role.
In February 2008, Mads Langer released an acoustic EP titled ''Fact-Fiction - Pop or...?'', which has been spread exclusively by word of mouth. Here, the now current first single was actually found in an acoustic version, which has become a bit of a MySpace hit with over 50,000 plays at the time of writing.
Like on the debut album, the material is written by Mads Langer himself, but he has also worked with a handful of internationally recognized songwriters, who have also written for a long list of prominent artists such as Johnny Cash, Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Ron Sexsmith, Adelle, James Morrison and Duffy.
Several songs are co-produced by Tim Christensen.
Mads Langer has today become a star with gigantic radio hits, and countless sold-out concert halls throughout the country. Yet there is a clear Langer signature. As always, the melancholy is present in the songs, but sharper edges and shapes have been added.
