Joshua Bassett
is not only a singer and multi-instrumentalist but also an actor; yet, he describes himself simply as a regular guy from San Diego. He grew up surrounded by music. At the age of 15, he wrote his first original song for his homecoming date. His role as Ricky in the Disney+ spin-off series *High School Musical: The Musical: The Series* garnered millions of streams and brought him worldwide fame. This success led to his first record deal with Warner Music, among other achievements, and his 2020 debut with "Common Sense." That track paved the way for his self-titled debut EP, which featured the viral hit "Feel Something." Bassett raised funds for mental health organizations using streaming proceeds from the trio of songs "Crisis / Secret / Set Me Free"—supplemented by a personal donation of $20,000.
