Eleganter Pop mit Wüstensand: Musikalisch bewegen sich Adrien Legrand und Inaniel Swims in einem eleganten und zugänglichen Independent-Pop-Gewand. Getragen von melancholischem Klavier, analogen Synthesizern, hallenden Surf-Gitarren und vielstimmigen, weiten Gesangschören kreieren sie einen Soundtrack, der deutliche Anleihen an Ennio Morricone und die Beach Boys nimmt. Tularosa entführt das Publikum in die monumentalen und flammenden Landschaften von New Mexico im Jahr 1881. Abseits der klassischen, gewaltverherrlichenden Western-Klischees erzählt dieses visuelle und akustische Erlebnis eine sensible, fast hypnotische Geschichte über die tiefe Verbundenheit und Leidenschaft zwischen einem jungen Mann und einem außergewöhnlichen, orangefarbenen Pferd mit weißem Kopf.

Adrien Legrand
waited until his 30th birthday to present his first songs under his own name. The French song scene has seen many singers brandishing their civil status in the city as well as on stage, but if for some it is obvious from the start to impose their name, for others, it takes time to adopt it. The path to self sometimes includes a few detours.

The click took place in 2017. Composer and keyboardist in the Normandy bands Gandi Lake and Veik - two bands with radically different aesthetics (the first leaning towards the glorious heritage of Anglo-Saxon pop and the second towards the German experimental music of the seventies) -, Adrien decided to open a third parallel path, his own. The friction between the idea of more intimate songs and orchestrations with a broad pop spectrum appeals to him, there is surely a territory to be discovered somewhere between Arnaud Fleurent-Didier and the Canadian group Homeshake.

No need to play loud, Adrien Legrand prefers to handle the silences to offer a place of choice to the piano, the voice and the choirs. A way to make his place very gently, expressing simple emotions, without artifice, and aiming at the heart.

Inaniel Swims
is a French multi-disciplinary artist, illustrator, and indie musician who has built a unique profile combining DIY garage-pop music with specialized maritime and festival illustration work. Operating under his own moniker, his life and work are deeply intertwined with independent art culture and nomadic sea travel.

Musical CareerBefore establishing his solo project, he active within the French indie and pop scenes as a multi-instrumentalist. He has performed as a singer, guitarist, or bassist for several notable French underground bands.
