With a career spanning more than 25 years, Kaleo Wassman is the lead singer and guitarist in two reggae dub bands, Pepper and Sabotage Soundsystem.

Born in Hawaii, Wassman met his fellow Pepper band members while he was still at school, and formed the band with them soon after they graduated. They soon moved to Southern California in order to pursue opportunities and be scouted by major labels. Their plan worked, and in 2000 they were signed to Volcom Entertainment, performing in the Warped Tour the following year. Their debut record soon followed, with fans loving the fresh reggae sound and the performances they gave on their numerous tours. Wassman then went on to found his own record label, LAW Records, releasing several Pepper products with the label including a live DVD and their fifth studio album, Pink Crustaceans and Good Vibrations. Alongside his work with Pepper, Wassman also founded another band called Sabotage Soundsystem around the same time, releasing EPs and demos before being signed to Volcom Entertainment.

Now, this seasoned musician is one of the most well known and well loved reggae-rock musicians of all time, and has made a lasting impression on the world of music. Wassman is also a wellness advocate and has launched his own lifestyle brand called Rebel and Muse, as well as offering a range of ukulele and songwriting lessons on his website.
