Info for Made You Look
Hudson Westbrook releases his sophomore album, "Made You Look".
“This record is built on the experiences and memories that my fans made possible,” said the 22-year-old Texas artist in a statement. “We made it with them in mind, staying true to my Texas roots.”
Described as a snapshot of the whirlwind journey that has transformed his life over the past two years, ‘Made You Look’ sees Westbrook leaning further into the blend of modern country storytelling and traditional Texas influences that has won him a rapidly growing fanbase.
“The last two years have been insane,” Westbrook said. “If you would have asked me what I thought my life would look like at 22, my wildest dreams wouldn’t even come close. And none of that would be possible without the people who love my music.” He added: “Sometimes it feels like we’re all chasing the same thing. Trying to find new ways to keep our fans guessing and listening. To keep their attention – to make them look. This record is built on the experiences and memories that my fans made possible for me over the last couple of years. We made it with them in mind, staying true to my Texas roots. I’m really proud of the album and how we pushed our sound and dug in on the songwriting. I hope you love it as much as I do.”
The newly released title track perfectly encapsulates that philosophy. Co-written by Westbrook alongside Lukas Scott, Joybeth Taylor, Neil Medley and Beau Bailey, ‘Made You Look’ is a playful, fiddle-driven two-step built around a flirtatious encounter on the dance floor. Packed with infectious energy and an instantly memorable chorus, it captures the easy-going charm that has become one of Westbrook’s trademarks while remaining firmly rooted in Texas dancehall tradition.
The album announcement follows a string of well-received previews, including Hits Me, Backwards and Hey Dallas, each offering a different glimpse into what promises to be Westbrook’s most ambitious project to date.

Hudson Westbrook
“is on the cusp of bona fide country music stardom” (Rolling Stone). A son of Stephenville, Texas, Westbrook was baptized by Red Dirt and raised on George Strait, Turnpike Troubadours, Parker McCollum, Koe Wetzel, and Tracy Lawrence. After a 2024 splash debut with first-ever release, “Take It Slow,” Westbrook strung together a series of grassroots hits while still enrolled at Texas Tech University, including Texas radio charttopper, “Two Way Drive,” and chart-topping debut single to country radio, “House Again.” Revitalizing the organic country he was raised on while refusing to be held down by his roots, Westbrook’s “traditional country sounds and timeless songwriting” (Billboard) have become his calling card, fully realized on his Top 10, 17-track debut album, Texas Forever, and expanded upon on follow up EP, Exclusive, out now.
Taking the spirit of Texas country music far beyond state lines, Westbrook is headlining sold-out tours nationwide, alongside opening gigs with George Strait, Parker McCollum, Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman, Midland, Ian Munsick, and many more. Amassing over 1.2 billion global streams in just under two years of releasing original music, Westbrook was named a Billboard Country Rookie of the Month, a 2025 Artist to Watch by Spotify, Country Now, Holler, The Country Wire, and a SiriusXM all-genre Five for 2025. Country Central predicts: "Westbrook’s rise shows potential to lead a new generation of artists in the Texas country realm."
