is one of the most exciting new artists to surface this year. Raised in small-town Nes in Norway she began playing piano in early childhood, and as a young teenager she decided to write her own music. Amanda attended no musical schools, but her household kept many classical instruments, so she taught herself to play piano and violin.
Early cover songs and uploading music to social media platforms made the former team behind Nico & Vinz aware of her talents and signed her to their own indie label GR:OW Records.
In summer 2016, she was picked up by the artist program Red Bull Sound Select, which resulted in a sold out concert at Parkteatret in Oslo where she shared the stage with British Dua Lipa.
Amanda has previously performed as a special guest on the tour of Nico & Vinz, so the expectations are sky-high for the young talented artist. Her first single "Paper Paper" was launched through the new indie label GR:OW Records, run by the former team behind Nico & Vinz.
"Paper Paper" quickly became A-listed on P3, reached the top 30 on Hype Machine and was # 1 on their twitter charter. With over 1 Million streams Amanda climbed to the top 20 on Spotify viral both in the US and globally. With a number of important festivals at home and abroad, Amanda Delara is clear that 2017 will be her year.
