Country singer and songwriter McCoy Moore has released his debut album, "Sunshine State".

“Sunshine State is the most honest representation of who I am, where I come from, and how I see the world. Every story, memory, lesson, heartbreak, dream, and musical influence I’ve picked up over the last 25 years found its way into these songs,” shared Moore. “This record is an accumulation of all the life experiences and music that shaped me growing up – from days spent heartbroken to days spent at the beach, and everything in between. It feels incredible to finally share who I am with the world. My hope is that somewhere in these songs, people find pieces of their own story too.”

Through beaming baritone vocals and a warm sonic glow, the Lakeland, Florida native embodies the land of perpetual summer, complete with its easy-does-it code of humble sincerity. A lifelong country fan schooled on late ‘90s and early 2000s radio, Kenny Chesney (his first concert), Tim McGraw, and Keith Whitley were the soundtrack to travel baseball and day trips to the beach, before a chance encounter with Luke Combs in 2017 helped propel Moore’s move to Nashville when he was 19 years old.

Co-writing all but one of 14 songs produced by hit maker Will Bundy (Riley Green, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett), modern muscle and a throwback country spirit tap the nostalgic heat of long-gone summers, while Moore’s vocal carries the buzz of an incoming thunderhead. Heavy bass lines and steel guitars hang thick like Spanish Moss off an old Live Oak (much like the one on the album’s cover, which was shot in his grandparents’ garage), with soaring emotions and bright melodies begging to be cranked up loud.

In addition to opening for HARDY throughout the year, Moore is also confirmed for CMA Fest, Milwaukee Summerfest, Cavendish Music Festival, and more, and will make his Grand Ole Opry debut May 26 after receiving an on-stage invite from HARDY on Moore’s 25th birthday (watch HERE). Country singer and songwriter McCoy Moore is originally a Florida boy who visited Nashville in 2018 for a Luke Comb show. An unexpected meet-and-greet with songwriter Dan Hutson, followed with him viewing a video of McCoy singing, led to an inspirational nudge to pursue a music career in Nashville. And McCoy did just that. Currently, he continues to create original music and has released songs on streaming platforms such as, "Take Me Back," "Built in a Day," "Heaven Walked out the Door," and more.
