Info zu The Way to Be Loved (EP)

What does it feel like to open yourself up to new love?

With The Way to Be Loved, Linda Wolf offers an indie-pop answer – two-part, honest, and unexpectedly danceable.

Soft, breathing synths and warm chords carry a series of questions about trust, honesty, and emotional responsibility. “Can you love me the way I need to be loved?” Linda Wolf’s voice is close, almost disarmingly so, as if she’s laying everything on the table: ready to love, but not without fear. Vulnerable, courageous, clear.

A cautious atmosphere at first, like moving carefully through the dark. Layered backing vocals and trembling synths slowly build tension. Then the beat drops, the voices lift and suddenly the song opens up. Bigger. Brighter. Danceable. And just like that, uncertainty turns into presence. Questions turn into a statement: when I know how to love myself and can clearly say what I need, I am free!

Linda Wolf
It is said that Linda Wolf can cry underwater. That she sings lullabies to her fears to calm them down. That she once danced alone until sunrise - just to remember what joy feels like.

A lot of things can be said, but what's important is what's done. And in fact, the Swiss psychotherapist-turned-indie-pop-artist has been quietly reshaping her sound for her second album, set for release in summer 2026 via Mouthwatering Records.

The beats are subtler now, but the feelings hit harder: Somewhere between Florence + The Machine, AURORA and London Grammar.

Guitars roll in like moonlit waves. Piano droplets shimmer on the skin. Her voice - warm, vulnerable, crystalline - carries stories of longing, overwhelm, and the small, radical act of feeling it all. Linda Wolf sings of quiet love. Of breaking patterns. And breathing through the noise. This isn't just songwriting. It's emotional deep-sea diving. A sonic space for anyone who's ever felt too much, or not enough.

If Linda Wolf's music were a late-night radio show, it would be broadcasting from a lighthouse, spinning songs for the lost and tender-hearted, with no concern for what's trending. Trying to spread love and safety.

Linda Wolf's debut album, "What if It All Works Out," was released via Mouthwatering Records (home to Black Sea Dahu, To Athena, DANA).
