Glass Animals, die vierköpfige Band aus London, veröffentlicht am 07. August ihr neues Album. Die Band besteht aus dem Singer-Songwriter und Produzenten Dave Bayley und seinen Kindheitsfreunden Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer und Drew MacFarlane. Das dritte Album von Glass Animals begann mit fundamentalen Fragen zu Identität, Liebe, Freundschaft und Erinnerung, wodurch DREAMLAND das Ergebnis einer Sammlung voller sensibler und persönlicher Erfahrungen der Band geworden ist. Inspiriert von einem breiten Sortiment musikalischer Idole, das von Timbaland bis Brian Wilson reicht, wurde DREAMLAND, als ihr bisher am meisten fesselndes Album, zu einer Pop-Platte von seltener Reichweite, Vision und emotionaler Tiefe. Die Kombination aus Keyboard-Sounds im Club-Stil und Vocals, die wie aus einem Traum erscheinen, ergeben einen nostalgisch-hypnotischen Sound. Im Vorfeld zum Album DREAMLAND erschien am 31.07 die Single „It’s All So Incredibly Loud“ – Sie erreichte 1 Millionen Streams innerhalb von nur drei Tagen. 2016 veröffentlichten sie ihr letztes Studioalbum „How To Be A Human Being“, mit dem sie große Erfolge feierten (#20 US). In den USA erzielte ihr Track „Gooey“ (2014) Platin-Status.

Glass Animals
is an English indie rock band from Oxford. The four members of Glass Animals have known each other since the age of fourteen, but they only started making music together after they finished school and Dave Bayley showed the other members the music he made and asked them to be in a band.
After the release of the EP Leaflings they decided to take it slow and focus on their university degree for a year. In 2013 they came in contact with Paul Epworth, an English music producer, and they signed with his label Wolf Tone. After 4 more EP's, a single, a tour with St. Vincent and a performance at SXSW 2014, they announced they will be releasing their first album Zaba in June 2014.
