Orbits
is a newly formed band that blends elements of alternative rock, indie, and jazz to create a sound that is both innovative and captivating. With their thought-provoking lyrics and orchestral music, Lars Horntveth (Jaga Jazzist), producer Erlend Mokkelbost and vocalist Natalie Sandtorv (Neon Ion) are joined in live performances by members of Arc Iris, Fieh and Elephant9.
Musically, Orbits is a combination of the trio's styles and influences and a shared vision for jazz experimentation, melody and collaboration. The resulting sound is a clash of jazz, psych rock, R&B and soul with the members citing Thundercat, Sade, Philip Glass and influential Brazilian composer Arthur Verocai.
